Preposition in English grammar
Proposition is important part of grammar. 
Did you know that there are over 150+ preposition in the English language. 
in, on, under, next to, behind, in front of, between. etc. 
Out of these of, to, and in are the most common ones
English is a very funny language. 
Types of preposition. 
1. Transitive preposition 
2. Intransitive preposition 
3. Conjunctive preposition 
4. Complex preposition 
5. Phrase proposition 
I am tell about 2 types of preposition. 
1. Transitive preposition 
Transitive prepositions are those that cannot function without a complement. They always need to be followed by word or a phrase in order complete their meaning. 
Ex. She lived amongst the wildflowers.
He ran towards the hill. 
2. Intransitive preposition 
Unlike the transitive preposition, an intransitive preposition does not require a complement to complete english the thought .
Many grammarians say that intransitive preposition are nothing but adverbs. 
Ex. She lived outside.
