Whale shark

The whale shark is a pelagic fish, meaning it lives in the upper layers of the open ocean



In 1949, a whale shark with a length of 12.65 meters and a weight of 15 tons was caught off the coast of Pakistan. The largest recorded specimen reached a length of 13.7 meters.
